El Hatun Yaku Raymi (Gran Fiesta del Agua) es una de las ceremonias ancestrales más importantes de Andamarca, Ayacucho. Cada año, la comunidad se reúne para agradecer y honrar al agua como fuente de vida, fertilidad y equilibrio con la naturaleza. En esta celebración, los Danzantes de Tijera realizan uno de sus rituales más sagrados, donde la danza, la música y la espiritualidad se unen como una ofrenda a los Apus y a la Pachamama, preservando una tradición viva transmitida de generación en generación.
Hatun Yaku Raymi (The Great Water Festival) is one of the most important ancestral ceremonies of Andamarca, Ayacucho. Each year, the community gathers to give thanks for and honor water as the source of life, fertility, and harmony with nature. During this celebration, the Scissors Dancers (Danzantes de Tijera) perform one of their most sacred rituals, where dance, music, and spirituality come together as an offering to the Apus (sacred mountain spirits) and Pachamama (Mother Earth), preserving a living tradition passed down from generation to generation.
